Private Capital

Private Capital Available

Minority, non-controlling capital of £1m–£5m for established businesses, to fund an acquisition, enter a new market, buy out a shareholder or finance a growth plan that has outrun the balance sheet.

Why private capital?

Reasons owners come to us

Most conversations start with a decision already made. The capital is the enabler. We structure it around the plan, not the other way round.

Capital With a Purpose Behind It

We are a private investment office, not a fund with a deployment clock. That means we can size, structure and time capital around what the business actually needs, rather than around a fundraising cycle.

Most of our conversations begin with a decision the owner has already made: buy the competitor, open the second office, take out the passive shareholder, hire the team that unlocks the next tier of clients. What is missing is the funding and the people who have done it before.

We provide both: capital that does not require you to sell control, and operators who sit alongside you through execution.

What we do

Minority Capital, Majority Alignment

We invest £1m–£5m of our own money into established, profitable businesses, funding acquisitions, expansion, shareholder liquidity and buy-ins, and then work alongside management to execute the plan the capital was raised for.

Who this is for: Owner-managed businesses with proven revenue and a specific, funded use of capital in mind.

01

You keep control

We take minority, non-controlling stakes. No forced sale, no change of mandate, no replacement of the leadership that built the business.

02

Our own balance sheet

We are not deploying someone else's fund against a deadline, so we can size and time capital around the business rather than a vintage year.

03

Operators, not observers

The people who back you have founded, scaled and sold companies in these sectors, and are available between board meetings.

04

Infrastructure included

Finance, systems, marketing and back-office support you would otherwise have to build or buy before growth pays for itself.

When Owners Come to Us

Funding an Acquisition

You have identified a target, whether a competitor, a team or a book of clients, and need capital plus the deal experience to price it, structure it and integrate it.

Growth Capital

Demand is ahead of capacity. Capital funds hiring, working capital, systems and marketing so growth is not rationed by cash.

International Expansion

A first office overseas, a licence in the GCC, or a US entry. We fund the build and open doors through our networks in London, Dubai, the US and Asia.

Shareholder Liquidity

A founder wants to de-risk, or a legacy shareholder needs to exit. We provide partial liquidity without forcing a full sale of the business.

Management Buy-Ins & Buy-Outs

Backing management teams to take ownership of the business they already run, with capital and a structure that keeps them incentivised.

Preparing for Exit

Capital and operating input to professionalise reporting, de-risk client concentration and position the business for a well-timed sale.

  • Our own balance sheet: no investment committee theatre, no deployment deadline
  • Operators who have founded, scaled and sold businesses in your sector
  • Back-office, finance and systems infrastructure available from day one
  • Decisions from the people you meet at the first conversation
  • A long-term hold horizon, with a shared plan for realising value
